This project was an 'early win' for Lauriston School as a way of introducing the benefits of the changes to come in transforming the school from 1FE to 2FE.

The 'lily pads' were recycled from the old school playground to give a range of play experiences within the context of a restricted urban site.  A rippled soft play surface culminates in a climbing mound fro challenging play.  In contrast a birch grove maze introduces a hide and seek area and a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the playground.
