In 2019 we were appointed to assist with the refurbishment of the Regal, with a focus on the 2 auditoria. Acoustic wall panels were replaced with Ecomac Prostretch panels; with a digitally printed graphic designed by Philip Meadowcroft Architects  to create a mural which is an abstract representation of bicycles on the Camel Trail, which passes through Wadebridge, and roots the cinema in its locality. The continuous band of light running along the top of the panels is formed with ‘LightTape’ which uses a new form of lighting technology which is more energy efficient than LEDs. The screen in Screen 2 was enlarged and centred on the auditorium.

 

Screen 1 was upgraded and the front of house areas and frontage redecorated in 2020. Screen 2 was upgraded in 2021. The focus was on creating impact within a tight budget.
